Swedish optics market
Synsam is Sweden’s largest optics chain with a market share of 35 percent, in competition with a number of established chains, mainly with a low price profile. There are currently about 800 independent optics stores in Sweden. They account for a total of 14 percent of the market, but constitute a declining share.
