The site for Synsam Group’s new Production and Innovation Center on Frösön outside Östersund will be completed during the spring of 2022. Ida Geiler, who is currently the project manager for Synsam Group’s relocation of the spectacle production from Asia to Sweden, has been appointed CEO of Synsam Group’s Production and Innovation Center. Ida will assume her position on 3 January 2022.
Synsam Group announces its interim report for the third quarter 2021 on 30 November 2021, and invites investors, analysts and media to presentations of the report on the same day.

In October, Synsam Group announced that its eyewear production would move from Asia to Sweden. This is one part of the company’s long-term sustainability agenda. Synsam’s factory and innovation centre will be established in Östersund, creating approximately 200 new jobs.
